- 2 jump yellow onions
- cooking oil
BEER BATTER MIX
10 oz of beer
2 teaspoons of cooking oil
2 cups of flour
- Mix first 3 ingredients. Add flour until mixture forms a paste. Batter should not be stiff.
- Dip jalapenos and onion slices in the batter to fully coat.
- Deep fry in hot oil -350 degrees until golden brown.
NOTE: If you want to kick up the flavor add spices like garlic powder, onion powder and cayanne pepper to the flour before mixing into the wet ingredients.
